I have a jebao 60 for a newer build. I was wondering how people attach them. I was thinking about silicone but would like to hear what others have done.

Hmm...good question. I wonder if the #reefsquad might be able to help. I would imagine silicone could work, but I'd probably try for finding a stronger magnet first if possible.

If you used silicone to attach it, it would be impossible to clean.

If you can't find a stronger magnet I would either see if you could attach a suction cup or get a different powerhead that had a suction cup attachment.

I imagine something like this might work, perhaps? There's also larger/stringer options out there, of course - with a price to match.

Nice! Just ordered. Looks like that will be my fix

Just make sure you put some form of softener between the tank and the new magnet!

Was planning on cutting up a piece of old work shirt

I know this is an older post, but how did that magnet out for you? I'm looking to do something similar.
