Would I be fine with buying only one mp10 for my nuvo pro 20 aio? The plan is to have lps and softies as well as inverts and some fishies

A lot of people suggest going with the size up, and just running them really low. Plus you'll have a pump(s) if you ever upgrade!

IMHO, multiple PH's are always better than a single because you are better able to randomize the flow in the system. Even if you have to go with more powerful ones and dial them back a bit your tank will be happier for it. And, as mentioned above, when (not if) you go with a larger system you'll already have some of the equipment you'll need!
