You may want to consider the WP25, I use one on my 40 and I have to keep it cut back between 50% and 75%. If you go with the WP40 I suspect you may find it almost too much. I think it would work well on a 60 at 100%. It is a bit smaller than the WP40 so it would probably look nicer, and if you decided one was not enough you could run two.
I would have gone with the WP10 on my 40 had it been available at the time.
As to filtering, sump systems are the way to go, for a 60 I would go with a 29 gallon or larger sump, a standard 29 gallon tank is about 30 1/4"L x 12 1/2"W x 18 3/4"H. If you have the space to go bigger a 40B would make a great sump. Next you want to figure out what you are going to use for a skimmer.
