Power heads or gyre for reefer 250?

Hello all,

It has been a long time since I have posted on here. I moved over a year ago and and started a new tank. Its a reefer 250 with no sps at this time as I would need upgrade or add more lighting. I started with a gyre 2k but was disappointed when it died after a year and was not that happy with it in general. I since have just two cheap power heads on each side temporarily but they keep failing. I was looking at 2 reefwave 25 or maybe 2 vortex mp10 but heard the glass might be too thick. Just looking for any suggestions from the experts here.

If you're not planning on SPS, then you don't need a huge amount of flow. Go with a less expensive option.
If you said you wanted SPS, I'd say get the MP10's. I run 2 MP40's on my 120 and love them.

Maybe a Jebao SLW series wavemaker? I had one in my 40g cube and it worked flawlessly. It's basically their version of an AI Nero.

I just picked up 2 nero 5s for my reefer 250 build. Originally wanted to go with 2 MP40s but wanted to keep the costs lower (2 nero 5's is pretty dang close to 1 MP40)
