I've had my tank for about 3 months now and I just noticed my Aquarium Masters 2640 GPH Power Heads are rusting. what the heck. Both of them are doing that. I'm guessing this is not normal. Please advise on if I should remove them and does anyone recommend power heads that will NOT rust. Thanks in advance.

If they're rusting absolutely remove them. Check out they hydor or jaebo pumps, they're not to badly priced and more geared towards saltwater.

Yes remove them.. what is rusting on the power heads? can you post pictures? occasionally magnets will rust on power heads but it’s not that common and take a long time to happen.

Just replace the screw that’s rusting in that mount with something none corrosive.
