Hey guys, setting up 6ftx18inx2ft mixed reef tank. Would 2 mp40s provide sufficient flow? Would it be possible to use one mp60? My thoughts would be that flow right in front of the mp60 would be too high in order to cover the full tank....would that be correct?

With a tank of that length you definitely want 2. Maybe 3 to get real good movement and you plan on SPS.

Thanks. I was leading towards the 2 mp40s then adding a smaller one (maybe 2) in the back.
