Wind storm in the PNW knocked out the power. I know the temp will drop in time. Got power back up for water circulation, no heat btw. Thinking if i need to use my camping stove to boil rock for heat. 8% of battery on my phone. So yeah... Frag tank an dt tank hold in there.!

Its 12:10 am PST and getting cold in my house and i only have 3% battery on my phone so if fish and corals make it ill report back.

Maybe try hand warmers on the glass if you have any.
I do have them but they gass off a chemical reaction so im not sure if i should use them i do have a propane gas stove to heat water. Im just not sure if i should bring water to a boil or like 80f to dump in my 40g breeder tank

do you have a gas stove? warm non-corrosive stuff up, i dunno, like sealed bags of RO water in a pot of hot water... and then float in your system

maybe even heat up ice packs to use, watch carefully they dont pop when heating lols

i wouldnt boil your live rock lols - maybe you could float other hot rocks inside a garbage bag

add RO inside the bag of hot rocks, to help spread the heat

hope u have nuff propane and good luck!

put near your return pump in the sump

like rounded landscape pebbles would work, shoot anything with mass and wont poke thru your bag(s)

Thanks i will watch temp... Its starting to get cold in my house ill try floatung som bags off hot water in my tanks... Battery on my phone 1% ill post back when power is back on

**** save ur last bit of phone power for human emergencies!

Put your heater on the jump start you can hand move your water in the tank. I live in Indiana first winter with a reef tank I bought a cheap generator just for the tank.

Shuffle between your heater and return on the jump start battery. You can move the water by hand for oxygen exchange while put the heater on the power source.

Okay power just popped back on here at 5:40 am after going out around 11:00 pm. It dropped down to 58 f in the house. Just before the power came back on my jump start battery ran out of power and i started hand stirring the water in my dt tank. The water temp on my 20g tank dropped down to 70f and my 40g dt got down to 72f boiled water added it to a bag and floated it 2 times in both tanks. So far nothing looks dead. I need sleep now.
