Do I need to run my cycled quarantine tank to keep it cycled, there is no fish in there.

To me, this depends on two things.

The first: was the last inhabitant sick? If not, then no need to sterilize the tank.

The second: when is the next fish coming? If I foresee adding another fish inside of a couple months, I would leave it up and running.

Are you asking because of a power outage? If so, the tank will do just fine with no heating or flow for days if not weeks.

At least you can relax and not worry about your QT system. It will be fine when you are ready to restore flow and use it again.
