Hey everyone.

So my power went out and my generator wouldnt start.

I ended up using an inverter but my heater kept overloading it.

Bottom line my tank went from 78 to 75 degrees. I kept the powerheads and return pump going. Is everything gonna die now? I have high end acros and all kinds of lps too.

If your power is back on and you've raised the temp back relatively slowly, I'd think it should be ok. 78 to 75 isn't a huge departure. You should be able to tell whether any of your corals have reacted negatively.

do not throw them out even if they bleach, I just brought back a 13 yr system that bleached fully from a 2 mo run at 68 degrees approx, heater was out and I didnt know it.

*turn your lights down dont blast them till things are fixed, feed them well on the rebound and even bleached ones can come back my whole system did. from white to back to colors really nice.

Thanks! Its working its way back up now. I figured flow was more important than temp.
