Power Outage Help

Hey guys, lost power in upstate New York and it’s looking like it could be a long one, atleast until tomorrow morning but hopefully will come back soon. My question and worry is about my tank temperature. The house thermostat is reading 69 degrees. I have an airator going and my mp40 on battery back up. I’d hate to fire up my generator prematurely if it isn’t necessary, just for a heater. Should I worry about the tank temp dropping significantly?

What’s your tanks temp right now?

Maybe grab an inverter and a marine battery and hook the heater up to that?

Tank is currently at 75.1....tank usually sits at 77/78. Power went out at 330 pm

Well....tank got down to about 70.5 over night. Generator running around the whole system now slowly bringing up temperature. Corals seem okay, most angry piece is my green leather for some reason.
