So if your a power outage worry wart like me you often think of the issue of power going out in the middle of the night without you knowing. In the northeast where I live this could be a problem as temperatures can easily get well below freezing and tank temps could drop drastically. Last night we were expecting high winds and temperatures around 9*. I found this app “outage alarm” that will notify you if power is lost in the middle of the night. At that point you could wake up and start a generator or do some other remedy. It works by sounding an alarm if your phone stops charging due to power outage. Thankfully we didn’t lose power last night but I’m sure it will come in handy in the future. Below are pics of the app.
