our power company informed us that they are cutting the power off in our area for 2 hrs. in a few weeks to do repairs.
Would my tanks(180 & 30) be okay with out power for that amount of time? If not what would you recommend I do?

Thanks,
Jim

For two hours...maybe a battery powered bubbler. For longer episodes, a portable generator in the backyard.

Yea I went to Walmart and got a bait bubbler in the fishing section in case of emergencies

Good advice in the above comments. Will you be around when they cut the power to keep an eye on things? If you go go the battery air pump route make sure to have extra batteries on hand in case it goes longer than the expected 2 hours. If you will be around you can get a fairly inexpensive inverter that plugs into your car to run a small pump/air pump as well.

Yes I will be there it is a Saturday night from 11pm to 1am if the stick to the plan.

thanks

The big question is will this time window be accurate. If they run into issues the work might take more time. I would be prepped to handle a longer outage in any case. I hope they stick to the plan.
