I'm relatively new to saltwater aquariums and have a small 14 Gal biocube that's been up for about 9 months. We got hit by Matthew and are without power and locked in due to flooding. I'm going to make the best of what I can but how long can my tank go without power before I really need to get worried.
Livestock wise I have 2 small clowns, a starry Blenny, hammer, torch, a few small coral frags, and clean up crew. Would an extra water change or 2 make a difference if it's a prolonged outage?
Right now taking any live stock to another tank isn't an option as our street is underwater.

Use a pitcher of some sort to scoop up water and pour back in ... this will help with oxygenation.
Yes, I would watch ammonia and change out water if you see a spike.
