Not sure if this has been asked already but I don’t have much time to search & read, I need MY questions answered for my situation, thank you.

Power is out in my entire building since last night, say they may have it fixed by tomorrow. I stayed in overnight with my fish & we left this morning. Moved them to my cleaned QT with DT water, it’s 10 gallons I have 2 gold nugget clowns, a half black angel & an azure damsel.

Right now I just have them in the tank with the heater at 78 degrees. I planned to add 1 of my power heads & PVC pipe will this be enough? I only have a sponge filter which I used during QT I was going to clean it but wanted to make sure it was safe.

I have 1 hermit & a turbo snail as well that I left because I wasn’t sure if it’d be necessary or safe being that my tank was once a QT with copper. If I should get them let me know.

Last question is my DT & canister filter, will my good bacteria survive till tomorrow? What should I do once it’s time to add my fish back to DT?

If I have missed something or there is flaw please help and correct me, thanks!

I couldn't say if the filter is safe as I don't know what you treated it with or how long it's been sitting. I'd probably err on the side of caution and get a new one, myself. Heater, (new) sponge filter, PVC and powerhead should be enough for a few days. Yes, I'd leave the inverts where they are.

In theory most of it should - but it probably depends on how cold it gets with the power out and no circulation (there are a few unknowns here). Once your DT is up and running again you should definitely test the water parameters. As for when it might be ok to return the fish, this is outside my area of expertise. Best of luck!
