Hi,
I just tried to plug my XF-130 back (cord from power supply to controller) in after a water change and I get a spark when I try to plug it back in. I left it unplugged as I don't want to start a fire is this a known issue? I'm guessing I will need a new power supply/controller. Thoughts?

Which end is sparking?
Could you have gotten water in the plug?
When I touch the male end to the female end (before actually getting them fully connected) they spark (cord from the controller to the power supply). The power supply was plugged in obviously so it had a charge coming. When I got them fully plugged in they functioned like normal but I'm not okay with that as a potential fire hazard so I've kept the pump off for now.

Water was my first thought as well but I did not get any around it and was dry as a bone.

If needing to unplug a Gyre you should be disconnecting the power supply plug from outlet. The spark is due to power being present at the connector as mentioned above.

During general use, I use the controller to turn off.
