Power Question

I know this has probably been asked many times, and I am really showing my lack of electrical knowledge here. I am getting a new pump for my return and it is DC, do I need to have an adapter to power it with standard (USA) outlets? Please have mercy on my lack of electrical knowledge

Any DC powered equipment should come with a transformer (wall wart/power brick or built into the equipment). As long as you have that, it should plug right into your wall outlet (unless it was intended for sale in a foreign market)
