Power strip selection ?

I need advice on selecting a power strip. I will need at least 8 outlets. I have been looking at some of the programmable strips for controlling daylight and moonlight on/off times. Problems is, these strips use two outlets for daylight and two outlets for night. I only need one for each. What is everyone else using ?

Reefkeeper Lite with two of their power strips.

The Lite package was actually cheaper that the power strip and six timers it replaced.

Highly recommended.

Ya....looks great but I'm not interested in going that high tech. I need to power at least 8 plugs on a JBJ 28 HQI. The light timer would be a nice feature but not my primary focus.

I use a DJ strip. 9 outlets, plus a USB outlet. you can add a timer between the device and the strip

the JBJ 28 stand is 18" wide. How wide is the DJ strip your using ?

Not home to measure, but if you take the brackets off the ends I think it will fit.
Google dj power strips to find one that works for you.
The nice thing is you don't have to pull plugs, just turn off the switch to the device.
