So, I am looking to add another power strip to replace my old one and I would like to get one with a timer. I use a 6x54w ati powermodule so I only have 2 plugs that need timers and everything I find has 4 timed outlets. Could I run 2 of my powerheads on the other timed outlets to help create more random currents? Also, what brand would people reccommend, zoomed seems to be one of the more easily available ones but have read plenty of reviews saying the timer doesnt actually keep the time properly.

No timer. But you could plug a digital one on the back. Switches are nice!

What is it lol? I realize its a power strip of some sort but who makes it? Individual switches are actually really nice, with a digital timer would I need one for each plug I wanted on timer, or is it possible to have one timer that will control 2 outlets?

It is a dj power strip a number of companies make them. For the timer you would need one for each outlet and you could not control two outlets with one timer. Each switch is on its own outlet, they are very convenient for doing maintenance on your tank.

Its a cool idea, but would your computer need to stay on for the timers to work? If so I cant see how it would actually save energy lol.

Same thoughts here but it sounds like a good idea. Cheap reef keeper lol
