The power supply for my battery backup has started flashing red and no longer works. I am looking to see if anyone has alternative options for replacing the power supply instead of having to pay $45+ for one strait from Echotech.

Just search for the proper voltage of where you are in the US it's 120 volts.

So Google

AC adapter 14.5 volts / 1.6 amps

That's what I tried originally but only found items in alibaba with minimum 100 order options.

14.5 volts is an incredibly odd voltage output for a power supply like this. Normally it is 5 VDC, 12 VDC, 24 VDC, 48 VDC, etc. I am not surprised that the only place you’ve found this is alibaba.

Search for wall mount AC adaptors on sites like digikey or mouser. They usually have specialty items likes this at qty 1. Just make sure it matches the specs you need. You might find that a specialty like this is going to be more expensive and may make sense to get it directly from eco tech.

I’d also suggest calling echo tech and seeing if you can get it replaced under warranty. I had to do this on my MP10 and they were great to work with.

Any 24v power supply should work.

Where are you getting this from? You can’t just add 10 VDC (71%) to what their power supply is. You need and want to be over on current, not voltage.

Unless of course you want to toast some bread and grill a nice snapper.

That is a 14VDC power supply. But it is ~58 bucks. What you can also do is buy a voltage regulator and a 28VDC converter. Then just adjust the voltage regulator down to 14VDC. Or if you can find an affordable adjustable power supply that is another option.
