Power-up your Acro's..........

I have been using it for about a month, and my experience is very similar to jackson6745's. I can tell SPS colors are little deeper, alittle more vibrant. Its not major, but its enough that I have taken notice. I have been working with pale SPS for a long time, so I am very aware when something actaully imrpoves the color. I have always had good polyp extension, so I cant really say that I have seen a differnce in that regard.

I am not a big fan of most additives either, but I am seeing that there is some clear benefitsto these aminio acids.

Polyp extension went somewhat back to pre-AP days about 4-weeks after starting the dosage. SPS color and growth is noticeably better, in my opinion.

Gorgeous acro. I'm using acropower myself these days, but like most things it's hard to tell if it's really helping with all the other variables. Something is better in my tank though thats for certain, my alkalinity intake has nearly doubled.

I ordered 500ml on amazon and the vendor shipped me a gallon... That's a five year supply with my dosing regimen..

Recommend keeping a close eye on your parameters when starting to dose AP. Lucky you on the 1-gallon mix-up. Not sure what the shelf-life is, but pay it forward and offer some to your buddies.

Reef Raft's "Led Zeplin" (proper spelling if you're actually looking for the coral...but I spell "Zeppelin" like the band). I think they're currently out of stock at the moment, but you could call them to find out. From what I can gather, it's a branching acro. You can see a pictures of theirs here: RR Led Zeplin

Same here but only in one of my tanks, not both, which are connected. I even did a treatment with Chemiclean and it didn't completely get ride of it. To be fair to AP though, I think it might be more tied to the fact that my RO/DI filters need to be swapped out.

I had this problem initially. How old is your reef? I started dosing Special Blend bacteria and between the 4th+5th week the cyano is gone. I'm doing 2ml per day on the same size reef and seeing results.

IMO, IME NEVER NEVER use an antibiotic slime remover. You destroy your nitryifing bacterial population. I dosed this on a previous tank an things were never the same. It was like starting a new reef again.

I wish I had taken some before shots but iv been dosing 12ml daily on my 1600L prop system and have had to increase both the ALK and Ca dosing by a massive 50% EACH! (49% to be exact) I'm on my 3rd week and due to test and adjust again tomorrow so this could be even greater! In those two weeks I have made absolutely no other changes to the system and had stable perimeters with no adjustments to the dosing required for a while.
In top of that iv noticed a huge amount of visible growth, colour improvements for all SPS and the polyp extension is the best iv ever seen!

I ordered a 1000ml container of it from Advanced Reef Aquarium a couple of weeks ago and have been using it since it arrived. The price was by far the cheapest that I found but I have to say that I've not noticed a difference in any of the corals in my tank. None of my SPS show signs of liking this stuff but nothing seems bothered by it as well. Coloration has not really changed and I still have almost zero PE. The only time I get true PE is at night when the lights are out and even more so when I turn my moon lights off for a few days--as a side note, my clowns ALWAYS seem to breed during or shortly after the lights out time. I'm thinking clowns may spawn after a new moon. Anyway, my tank is a 55 and I dose 2ml daily into a high flow area. I usually dose right into the intake on my return pump, and I've dosed right on top of my SPS and still not seen anything.

Because the price was so good I am not really upset that I've not seen a change, but it would be nice. I've got an entire liter to use, so maybe something will change before I use it all. Regardless, it is MUCH cheaper than similar products for a whole lot more.

Lol. Another thing is I was dosing with Red Sea energy A + B, and my Red planet which was purple / blue, now starting to get some green burning tips. Starting to see some PE for Strawberry also, so gonne see how much more better Acro do when I start dosing that.
