Powerhead Advice

I have a 35 gallon shallow long mixed reef, for flow I use my return pump (which pushes water from across the left side to the right mixed with two current USA eFlux pumps (660 gph). One pump is on the front right and the other on the rear left. I really love how programmable they are and they worked amazingly in my biocube, but I really don't think they do enough in this tank. I'm looking to upgrade the front right one, I'm considering just stepping up to the 1050 gph model, or changing to another type of pump altogether. I'd love some advice and I am looking for a pump that meets the following criteria:
1. Price (try to keep it under $80)
2. Programmability (I don't need much, I just want a little)
3. System (I can't afford to change over to another type of system such as a neptune or apex right now, so preferably something that is independent if not another current usa)
4. Quality (I'm going into college next month, budget for this is going to plummet, so I'm trying to get all my stuff together now, I don't want to replace this in six months)
