I've been searching for the appropriate sized powerhead for a 10 gallon tank. It's a Lifegard 10G, 12"x18" approximately so not a cube. This is the smallest tank I have had so far and not sure what kind of flow I should be looking for. I'll have fish and a few "easy" corals, no SPS.

I replaced the quiet one pump that came with the tank with a Sicce Syncra Nano. The flow from the pump doesn't give much flow inside the DT.

hi yes look for a small controllable one

The Innovative Marine Wavelink pumps are nice, a bit more pricey then Jaebo but pretty much identical pumps. I guess you're paying for IM name, warranty and customer service. I have two of the desktop size in my 20 dropoff and they stay on minimum speed. It's a RFA and ricordea tank and I like to keep the flow down for the small fish I have.

The wavelink looks to be adjustable from 165 to 1500 gph. Pretty low flow at lowest settings which might be perfect.

+1 on the Jebao sow-4/pp-4/rw-4/etc pumps. I run one in a 10 gallon and it's perfect for it.

Do you know what the flow rates for the SOW is? I looked but didn't see anything.

Would love to see some pics of your drop off. I just bought one and needs some ideas for the scape.
