I have a 45 gallon QT tank (big, I know, my first QT was all of my existing fish).
I am getting ready to receive a harem (5) Dispar Anthias from Live Aquaria tomorrow.
Knowing Anthias are especially difficult to get eating, and wanting them eating before medicating, I was looking around at several threads about getting them to eat in QT, and a couple mentioned having a powerhead in the QT for flow to "blow the food around" and more stimulate the feeding response.
I usually run two airstones in teh QT, but have not had a Powerhead in there before. That being said, I have an old Korilla I could throw in there, just not sure if it is a good idea or not.
What do you think?
