Powerhead Nem Guard

Show me what you guys do to cover your power heads. I am just using some eshopp filter sponges zip tied to the powerhead, but I feel they clog easily and reduce flow. Lets see your solutions!

How often do you clean these out? I dont have Ecotech powerheads unfortunately and use Jeobao RW-8s

Squeeze it out once a week. When I water change.

with the Jebao pumps use Marineland rite size filter sleeves you cut them in half and slip right over the pump. They come 3 sleeves to the pack.
