Hello

Almost finished setting up my tank.
Wondering how the powerhead placement is?
I have 2 x MP40s.
I think I went overkill putting 2 on the Reefer 200XL.
I’m currently running them at 40%.

I noticed whirlpool above and below in the sand.
and the sand moves around a bit in the front.
Pink Fiji.

Question….
How’s my placement?
is running at 40% too low/high?

Thanks

On the plus side, when you decide to upgrade to a larger Red Sea you won't need new wavemakers. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I would probably go with the suggestion to turn them down to 20-30% (I run my Red Sea wavemakers @20-50% throughout the day).

Sounds like 40% is too high if getting whirlpool on water surface AND sand... If just surface I would suggest to move MP40s down a touch but that wont help with the sand issue... Turn them down a bit and see if both issues disappear.

Will try 25% and see how that goes.
