Hello everyone! I am setting up my new tank this coming Friday, it is a Planet Aquariums starfire rimless that is 72"×24"×21 with a ghost overflow. And it will be an SPS dominant tank.

I have 2x MP40QD as well as a new Gyre XF250 and I was wondering what the best placement would be for these pumps? I am also thinking about getting a second Gyre XF250 and perhaps running them on either side of the overflow with the MP40s on the sides.

Attached is some pictures of my current thought process for my aquascape.

Again, any ideas of pump placement will be greatly appreciated.

Whichever pair you put at the ends vs to either side of the overflow I think you'll have lots of great flow options. If I remember right, the Gyres can go in either direction right? So if you put them at the ends you could simulate a tidal flow - tide going in, then going out - by reversing flow. Then the MP40s on the back wall could be used to create a little randomization/turbulence.
