Hello all. I have been visiting a massive amount of sites/threads on powerhead placement and decided Id rather post a pic of my tank and get opinions specifically about mine personally. I have a Sicce Voyager 525 GPH on the front right, and the back left powerhead in the pic is being replaced by a Koralia 800 gph tomorrow. Completely open to any movements of the positioning. I was unsure of how to incorporate surface agitation here with optimal placement (I dont have a sump or anything for return flow, only a small stream coming in from my HOB refugium). Any opinions/suggestions would be appreciated on the placement of the Voyager and the new Koralia! Thanks!

Create lots of random flow if you can. Try mounting one pump on the left center side and the other on the right center side. Plug each into their own timer and set the on-off cycles on each so that the left is on for 15 minutes, then the right is on for 15 minutes. Or maybe a some what random schedule so that sometimes both are on at the same time while at other times only one are on at a time. Its all good. You'll probably change it up a few times with the angles and varying times until you find a setup you like. Have fun with it. ;Happy
