Powerhead placement

I will be setting up a 29g FOWLR, with a Tidal, either 55 or 75, and 2 Hydor Koralia Nano 565 powerheads. Does it matter where I place the powerheads? I plan to hang the Tidal on the side of the tank instead of the back. Will that effect powerhead placement?

I like having a swirling action with the wavemakers. The tidal will move some water. I had the 55 on a 29g. I would point the wavemakers in a way that stops crud from ending up behind rocks.
