Powerhead placements

Hello everyone,

my biggest struggle so far has been finding the right flow and placement of my power heads. I have an aquatop mcp-5 and a redsea reef wave 25. The redsea is easier in the sense that I can control it from my phone, but the aquatop is fixed with no adjustments. I have a mixed reef with quite a few fishes. I will post some pics of my placement. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also, the tank is a 75 gallon that’s about 48” wide. Aquatop is pointed towards front glass and the reef wave is also pointed towards front. Thank you!

It’s the fluval 407. The hoses are coming up the back left side. The far left is my skimmer.

I have my ReefWaves on either end of the tank, so you might find you get a nice circular wave pattern with the one on the right side. You could also try moving the Aquatop to the bottom left corner to get some circulation there.
