Powerhead question

I am very new to salt water! My question is - Do I need to let my powerhead run in increments? Do I need to turn it off at night? I'm currently cycling my tank. Also how should I run the powerhead when I do get fish and coral?

Let your powerhead point a little upwards so it will make the water ripple on top. If you don't have a controller let it run 24/7. As far as adding livestock your tank has to cycle and you will need to test water to determine when it is safe to add livestock.
