My tank side walls are 1" thick. Help is needed to identify what powerhead works on the 1" thick acrylic sheet. The desired flow rate is around 3000 gph.

Ecotech mp60 is 7,500 gph and gyre 150 is 5,000 gph several would work best or one on each side.

Thanks, but aren't these two only capable of sticking to 3/4" with their magnets?

Maxspect makes a magnet upgrade for 1 1/4 " glass and acrylic but is cost $60. You can by the the gyre its self off of eBay for less money got my 130 gyre for $180 it's 100% authentic but I'm not sure how to do the warranty but haven't had any problems yet and it works great.

I like my Maxspect Gyre's. I do not have the thick glass, but they move the water.

Works great for me I have a 60g cube which the gyre is a little overkill for it so I never us full power of i do the sand starts to fly up I have a temp gauge that goes in the sand that gets thrown around basically look like a hurricane in the tank

The 6255's work on 1" out of the box, the smaller models the magnet holders can be replaced with a stronger model for up to 1". The Masterstreams clamp to a pipe in the typical install and while we do have a magnet holder for up to 1 1/8" glass it is an optional accessory and it is likely overkill unless this tank is 1000 gallon+. Usually the Masterstreams are used on tanks that are so thick, magnet holders aren't even an option so it just clamps onto a pipe.
