hello Im in the planing stage for a 240g build. This is my first saltwater build so im not sure what are good powerheads. I would like to have as little equipment in the tank as possible.

the tank is 96x24x25 with diy 75g sump
stocking LPS/fish

I have been eyeing the
hydro Koralia 3rd gen 2450s maybe x4
ice cap gyre x2
Ecotech MP10 x?

i rly like the price point of the Hydros with a controller. Is it possible to place any of these on the back and get the flow i need? On the side looks like trash to me no offence to any one. will put them there if that's how it needs to be

My choice in a tank that big would be ice cap gyre x2

I would go Ecotech no hesitation and probably MP60’s or several MP40’s for example. You can check the calculator on their web site

Ive got an MP60 at each end and an MP40 on the back wall of my large build. And an MP40 at each end of my S650

There very simple to use especially if combined with Apex, and a dream to clean. Take off, drop in citric acid for an hour and then re attach.
