I am currently running 2 jebao ow-10's on my low boy tank and so far I am not happy with the flow. I am thinking of upgrading to a "real" powerhead but I really don't what I need.

I had a gyre on a different tank in the past and didn't care for it. I'm really intrigued by the ecotech vortechs, but I'm not sure how many I would need and I am not looking to spend $600+ for a couple of powerheads for this tank.

I have all softies in this tank but I like to run pretty high flow. I'm just not able to get the varied flow I'm after with my current powerheads. Would 1 mp10 work for this tank? Do you think I would be any better off with 1 mp10 vs what I have now?

Check the second link in my sig for more details on the tank.

Thanks

The thing I have found with the low boy is that it's 2 feet wide. I dont think one mp10 would work here. Plus it has to clear a length of 4 feet.

Edit:just saw your frag tank looks really nice.

Look into the 300 series gyres. I hated the 200 series but the noise on the 300 series is night and day better
