I’m looking to find out if I can get away with a powerhead instead of an airstone for this situation-
I have to remove my corals from my tank into a bucket for hopefully only a few hours maybe half a day.
can I use a powerhead to keep them alive or do I need an airstone to keep them oxygenated?
I have a brain coral and a hammer coral

A powerhead is more than enough.

Only concern might be to keep the powerhead secured so it flop around in there and give them TOO MUCH flow, pointing straight at them in a bucket, I would think.

Also if you have a spare small heater handy, toss it on in there.
