I'm hovering over the 'Submit' button on the MP10WQD powerhead. Is this the correct decision for my 32 gallon biocube? Right now, just housing two stressed clowns and a CUC. Is there a difference between getting this or getting a wavemaker? Do I need one - or the other??....or both?

Appreciate any input!

OK, just read the desctiption on the MP10 WAVEMAKER... :(

Still question stands, when I buy this, should I get a powerhead as well?

Thanks ;)

I've got a 29, and due to the shape of the tank, the localized flow different corals receive can be changed drastically based on pointing the powerhead. The mp10 is unquestionably a nice pump, but I've never regretted buying a powerhead with a hinged mount.

My understanding is a small body of water like that won't ever be able to utilise a wavemaker as such as there is not a big enough space for wave movement. However the customisation is still very useful for keeping flow random and eliminating deadspots

Thank you both for your responses! I'll keep my eye on this and hopefully get a few more opinions I can work from. I basically want water flow and good oxygenation...

Ultimately will probably be a fish + few softies and LPS tank.

For its functionality the mp10 is incredible. I've personally got a cheap jebao rw4 on my 13.5g, if I had the money I'd definitely go for something like the mp10!
