So often we discuss how important flow is for a reef, but what about in a fowlr? Obviously not AS important. However, still necessary IMO to help keep detritus suspended for removal etc.
Im almost finished with my latest build which is a 150 tall fowlr (48x24x30). At first I was leaning towards a powerhead / wave pump for cost reasons, less intrusive looking etc. Now im thinking the gyre style might be better with the taller tank. Am I on the right track in my logic?
Which style would you choose and why?
