Powerheads flow define.

Hi guys. I have one question for all to help me and others new to this hobby.

How would you define high medium and low flow of water. How do you know low is too high or high is too low. I have 4 poweheads in my tank and i need help.

I would also like input. I have 3MP 40s and a tunze in my tank and have heard I have too much flow but still have detritus on bottom sometimes and crud on rocks I have to turkey blaster off.

Yea. I have always been wondering about this so it would help to actually have someone explain this in detail.
