Will 2 Vortech Mp10QD powerheads be sufficient for a 120 gallon reef tank? I also have a return pump/ overflow that will be running at 1200 GPH, thanks in advance!

For one the glass will be too thick for the mp10's to properly stay on. There are tricks you can do to make them stay but any slight bump will cause them to fall. I would recommend 2 mp40's for a 120.

What fish/corals are you planning to keep in it? One 250 gyre may be sufficient depending on livestock.

Mainly LPS and soft corals and only larger fish would be a yellow tang and a flame angel I have in my current tank now that's a law abiding citizen so far lol, firefish, ocellaris clowns, 2 neon gobies

Do you know how thick the glass would be? The dimensions are 60x18x26

I believe 3/8" So mp10's might hold but depending on rockwork they might not create enough flow. The 4' 120 uses 1/2" glass

Hello guitaris, I have 2 250 gyres on my 180. They surely move a lot of water around . The length also spreads the flow well. However the controller (at least to me) is confusing to operate. Over all I like them and not too pricey.

Awesome man I appreciate it! Are they quiet ? I've read mixed reviews some saying they're very noisy and some saying they're quiet

Aaahh, Quiet? That's a relative term. so this tank is in the living room. when it's dead quiet,no TV, windows open, I can hear them wind up. Doesn't bother me a bit .

Mine will be in the living room also I just didn't know how "loud" it would be at night as you said without any TV's or anything going on, and don't want to keep people up in my house lol
