powerheads?

i just got a 800gph powerhead for my new 29gal biocube and i think its too powerful can anyone tell me what i should get gph that is im on a budget and feel like i may have waisted money on this one actually its 2 that i got won them on ebay for 40 bucks they are stirring up my sand pretty bad can i leave them up until i get some new ones?

Way too much for that size tank. You might look at the ones rated for nano tanks. You don't want to blast your corals or sandbed.

Try to angle it so it isn't blowing your sand around. I had more than that in my 29...I think I had close to 800-1200. Set it up so it is rooster tailing at the surface if you have to, I needed that because my 29 was not drilled and I got a film on top till I did that.

yea i got it figured out its not so bad now still gonna get a smaller one or two just gotta save up some more cash my buddy is going to hook me up with a whole bunch of frags tomorrow hope my skimmer gets here soon btw thanks guys for all your help
