Hello, how many Powerheads do you guys/gals think we need. It is 29G FOWLR with 20# LR and about 15-20# gravel. We have one Hydor Koralia 425, should we add one more of 425 or 240 and how should we place them? Thanks!

I'm using a seio superflow 620 (620gph) and a jebao wp25 in mine. I can't give an accurate gph of the wp 25 because its on pulse setting. I always shoot for around 30x-35x turnover per hour. So for a 29 anywhere between 850gph and 1,100gph.

I see Thanks Pete Polyp! So would I place the other Powerhead the other side of the tank but slightly towards the substrate or just put it like in the middle?

I have them both in the back of the tank pointing upwards slightly. They're on the sides but next to the back of the tank if that makes sense. It takes a little adjusting to get the flow where you want it to be.
