have a red sea reefer 750xxl 6x2x2 mixed reef i have currently have 4 mp40s i wanna try to eliminate as much cables as possible in my cabinet would 2 mp60s be better than the 4 mp40s?

If you look on the eco tech website there’s a flow calculator so you can see the effects of the different power heads

I would have thought 2 MP60’s would be fine in a tank that size, but you would probably need to turn them down, but so would your current MP40’s

Ive got 2 MP60’s in a tank much longer and they can handle the flow
