So I have had my tank up and running now for a few months. Its a 65 gallon tank running on a canister filter (I know, don't kill me lol) with about 60 lbs of live rock with a new hermit crabs and other little critters that hitchhiked in with the rocks as well as a watchmen goby, lawnmower blend, clownfish, firefish as well as a bangaii cardinal. Everything has been running along well but I have to clean to floor of the tank fairly often due to food settling on the sand bed. Will a powerhead or two remedy this issue? I know I will need one at some point anyway as I would like to eventually keep corals. Is there any need for them with pretty much fish and live rock only? If so, what kinds do you guys suggest? I appreciate any advice or insight that you may have.

The help with promoting gas exchange and bringing oxygen to the fish. I would never have a tank without one.

It should help with keeping food off the bottom.
