Powerheads

I believe there's no middleground when it comes to powerheads. Two of these would be great if you're on a budget. If you're not on a budget, vortechs and maxspect gyres.

For a/c I prefer sicce voyagers as they are anemone proof. For DC, I would try to narrow your budget. For me, I'd feel like an idiot buying an mp40 or similar. For others, its the default choice. Tunze has some great options. Check out the brs flow video for some comparisons

I was thinking a gyro and two mp10 for the 90 also how would u set the mps up on the sides?

Jebao ow series powerheads are a nice inexpensive option. Ecotech is nice with extra features and no cord in the tank. I don't like the lack of adjustment/swivel but that's just me...great pumps though. As others stated..budget is key. Ypu could go two gyres one for each side and a couple powerheads for the back glass or vice versa on the placement

You will probably have this tank for a long time once set up - I used the cheaper options but finally it comes down to how nicely you maintain them and how tolerant you are to issues - usually a lot of bigger brands have better support but for cheaper it’s as easy as just ordering a new one - I use 2 mp40 on my 150 but for my 55 2 Jebao and also I use a supplemental slw30 Jebao and they have been nothing but great
