Is it safe to use prazipro with reducing agents such as a Dechlorinator?

Curious as I know that such a combo when using copper can significantly increase the toxicity of the medication.

Thanks!

I've done it before, with no ill effects. However, I've read on forums of people waking up to a QT full of dead fish after doing it. So, I'm not 100% sure.

The resulting chemical interaction probably sometimes causes a bacterial bloom (which can decrease available O2 in the water), while other times this doesn't happen.

Might be a good ? for @Randy Holmes-Farley.

Thanks for the feedback, and potential warning. I wish wish they were explicit about it in the directions like Cupramine is.

I will have my ro/di set up next weekend - and since I'm just doing a prophylactic treatment - I may just postpone treatment.

When I get a new fish, I add him to the QT and don't add anything for 1 week to let hime "relax" and start eating. Then I treat him with the Prazipro for a week as a prophylactic, I do a water change and after that, I treat with the copper. I hope this helps...

Appreciate the help.

Do you use ro/di, or tap water with Dechlorinator when you are using prazipro?
