PraziPro and macro algae

I asked the seller if I needed to quarantine my macro algae. He said the pods and other creatures in them "may" carry internal parasites and quarantine for 6 weeks(!)is a good idea. But he also said I could use PraziPro if I don't mind killing all the critters among them.
OK I don't mind doing that but will it hurt the macro algae too? How long is a safe dipping period?

Shouldn’t hurt the algae. PraziPro is dosed to the system, not a dip. Takes hours for the parasites to die. Just follow the instructions.
