two of my fish flashing at times with no sign of ick/velvet/brook. So it leads to me thinking its flukes/worms.
I am going to dose straight to my DT.
Getting a little confused here on the instruction..
Do I do a waterchange BEFORE adding the first dose?

i.e.
Waterchange [25%]
-day 1, dose prazipro, then wait 7 days
-waterchange [25%]
-day 8, dose prazipro, then waterchange after 7 days?

Also before, I have been dosing polylab, I know your not suppose to mix treatments, but it has been 3 days since i stopped doing polylab dosing to get rid of possible velvet/ich.

I think they recommend it before hand just to help you not build up nitrate and phosphate (as opposed to you waiting however many days its been + 7 to do the next one assuming you do them). Then, you can do whatever amount of water change after the first 7 days, then redose. Sometimes 3 doses are needed, but 2 usually works in my experience.

Are you talking about the product Medic, if so I believe it is a form of H2O2 and dissipates pretty quickly. Make sure to consider displacement when dosing the pp, as many overdose when that is not taken into consideration, dose to water volume. I've never done a water change prior but that's something that wouldn't hurt. I usually go 5 days to the 2nd dose, but 7 is also done.

He's talking about prazipro not polyp lab medic.

Edit: reading comprehension is fundamental, lol. Carry on.

I don't know about polyp lab medic and prazipro, but I have treated prazi and paraguard @ the same time with no issues.

ok since i already did a waterchange not to long ago, im going to add the first dose today. wait probably 5 days and then do a waterchange right before adding second dosage.

Does this sound about right? and then the final waterchange after 5-7 days after the second dosage?

I heard doing dosage too often can be bad for the livestock. So im going to do it twice and see if the fishes do any more flailing. if problem persists do a third.

yes?

PRAZIPRO works like a charm. First dose and fishes stopped flashing. WOW.

Im going to do a second does to get rid of possible eggs and be done with it.

Thank you all
