as per subject, using prazipro in DT, requires a water change or could i skip it? following triton method, i don't have enough bucket to change more than 10% at once

When using prazi, leave for 8 consecutive days, do a water change and one more 8 day interval

I thought the wait time was 7 days. Is there any benefit to an extra day?

Prazipro directions emphasize not to overdose, so I would personally do the water change. Could you obtain any other large containers?

i could find a bigger container, but not more than 25% . would be enough?

alternatives to prazipro for flukes? seems to be unavailable in Italy

If you are following a protocol - IMHO - follow directions. Why? these are somewhat toxic medications and the are also removed in a tank. So yes - a water change - with a re-dose - if recommended - do it

but the main issue is that this medication is not available in Italy

Seven days isn't quite long enough for Neobenedenia eggs to hatch, and prazi doesn't kill the eggs. I use nine days, but eight is probably o.k., Even then, public aquariums often have to run 3 to 5 treatments in order to control Neobenedenia or egg laying gill flukes.

The best alternative to prazipro is a hyposalinity treatment (fish only of course) at a specific gravity of 1.012 for 35 days. If you run a SG of 1.009, you can take care of marine ich at the same time.

any other product to kill these ****?
what about the Dactymor Forte (Cyromazine) ?

Praziquantel breaks down rapidly in aquariums, so after 36 hours, very little of it is left. The solvent in Prazipro can be an issue, but as long as you aerate the tank well, redosing isn't an issue.

i can buy Praziquantel not for aquariums but for Animals (in tablet). any dosage calculator and procedure to use the tablet in the tank?

So - if I'm understanding - or misunderstanding. If there is a protocol follow it. If the medication is not available - I would try a different protocol. BTW - a veterinarian should be able to give anyone in the world a prescription. Thus - it is available in Italy. I would check with your friends/etc - to see if anyone knows a veterinarian. It is probably not available in a pet store

i can have a prescription but which dose should i use? dosage for pets is different than dosage from the Sera, Fritz or Hikari

If you have a prescription - your veterinarian would answer that.
IMHO
