Prazipro or Ruby Reef Rally Pro Saltwater Dip instructions

Does anyone have the instructions for doing a short saltwater dip using Prazipro or Ruby Reef Rally Pro to get rid of flukes? (I have already done 2 FW dips.)

I am not aware of a prazipro drip method. It seems like parasites will need to have more exposure to a drug than 'a dip' - UNLESS you're talking about a 24-48 hour dip

A customer service rep at BRS uses a higher concentration for a short amount of time but they are closed for the weekend and so is Hikari.

Lets put it this way - a short dip likely won't hurt - the question is (in my mind) - is it proven to help? @Jay Hemdal

Praziquantel can be used at higher doses shorter term as a dip, but you can’t put the fish back in the same tank due to risk of reinfection. I would be concerned that the solvent in Prazipro is not safe for fish at the higher doses needed for short term dips.

Thanks for the advice. I am ordering Hydroplex but was hoping to give the fish some relief much quicker.

A dose of praziquantel that equals 2 ppm, dosed 8 days apart with good aeration.

No - that dose can be used in a quarantine tank OR a display.

Praziquantel as a dip, should be dosed at around 10 ppm for 3 hours, but you MUST move the fish to a new, non-infected tank after the dip, else the fish will just get reinfected.
