In reading posts and the bottle of prazipro it talks about shutting skimmer and carbon off when treating. I also read most recommend doing 2 applications 1 week apart. So questions are
1) can you run GFO during this time?
2) in another post I saw
Prazi is only active in the water for 48 hours and only takes 24 hours to work it's magic. I hope this answers your question, if not please feel free to clarify what you were looking to find out. :)

could you run carbon and skimmer day 2or3-7 of each treatment or is best to leave both off for the 2 week period?

You can run carbon after 24 hours. I recommend turning off all nutrient exporting to give the prazi the best chance for effect. Maybe some filter floss but that’s it and after 24 hours you can go back to normal filtration
Then I used this calculator to decide the best time for a second dose

@rpeters

1) I think GFO is OK with prazi, but I personally would shut it off just to be safe.

2) You can resume running carbon 24 hrs after dosing Prazipro; just be sure to take it offline again before dosing the second round.

Thank you both, I did happen to come across the above mentioned post shortly after posting. I did take everything offline (Good time to clean skimmer) but PO4 went from .06 to .14 so it got me wondering. Will resume normal after 24 hours.

I’d remove or shut off any media for at least 24 hours after each dose, as mentioned above. :)

anyone ever have ill effects with prazi and their cleaner shrimp? I have read a lot about wrasse which I do have a yellow coris but he seems fine but cleaner hadn't moved all day and now I see him upside down on the sand bed. didn't appear dead but not himself for sure
