Hello. I have several questions please:

1. Since Prazipro does not contain Metronidazole like GC does, then what are you using to kill Brook and Uronemia?

2. Does the higher concentration of Prazi in Prazipro compared to GC make a difference?

3. Some have suggested using GC for 5-7 days and then redosing vs 2 days as written in the instructions. Do you recommend this and why?

4. On a bit of a different topic, is there any advantage to using Safety Stop after a full medicated quarantine and prior to introducing the fish to the display tank or is it just overkill (no pun intended)?

Thank you in advance!

Metronidazole is often suggested for Brooklynella, but it doesn’t work well. It doesn’t work at all for intercellular Uronema (nothing does).
The two day residing schedule for GC is based on the needs of the metro, praziquantel is better if spaced out longer in order to break the fluke’s life cycle.
Never use safety stop on shipped fish, give them a couple of days to get over the stress of a shipment before doing that. There is some benefit in using safety stop at the end of a full quarantine, just to catch anything missed.

Brook and uronema is often formalin based whereas prazi is praziquantel
Metro great with internal issues as long as fish is eating. Jay clarified the rest
